My sister's accent is also weird. She grew up surrounded by a shitload of different dialects, and it sounds like an amalgamation of all of them. In my country she's probably the only person that speaks like that.

my classmate went through this.. but it went away. From birth to the age of twelve, she had a british accent despite being in canada. She had no british lineage, doesn't watch british shows nor has ever been there, and was the only one in her family who spoke like this. we brushed it off because she was understandable, and she never had a problem with grammar
