Not really, this was my first one. It only took about 10 minutes though.
Turn your shoulders much more backward, put your flicking foot quite close to the deck bolts so it doesn't interfere with the board flip. And flick sideways instead of diagonal. With a loose flicking ankle. Pretend you're going to do a nollie back 180 kickflip and then spin back.

dont you do like that on the normal hardflip as wel? pretend to do a frontsideflip and then turn back? :) its an awsome trick

I don't do my normal hardflips like that. For those I go more like a reversed inward heel technique. These feel completely different to my fakie ones.
