Dr. Patricio Reyes is director of the Alzheimer's Disease and Cognitive Disorders Program at the University of Michigan. In this interview hosted by Luis Figueroa, he talks about Alzheimer's disease and the ways to differentiate it from memory loss that accompanies the normal aging process.
He also describes some of the risk factors that increase the chances of developing the disease. Although there is still no way to prevent Alzheimer's, Dr. Reyes discusses some of the lifestyle decisions and steps that may help to reduce the risk of acquiring the illness.
