Happy New Year to all.
This is my first attempt to sculpt a horse. I used a none drying modeling clay called, Plasteline by Chavant. I can tell you that I did not like working with this clay.

  • can you give me some tips.Iv started working with new dry clay but Im not happy when I go to spray or paint them some still look rugh.My question is can I give my sculpters a lihjt sanding when they dry??

  • @huskywallAz I assume by dry clay you mean air dry clay. If so, yes, you can let it dry out, sand it smooth and then paint it.

  • I love it! the short legs add cuteness .... Cute little midget horse.... :D

  • @AmbersSuperVideos lol... Thanks for your kind comment! :)

  • legs were short...

sculpture, painting what else? is just as plain as running through family chords with out vocals, or leads. try to bend the tail a lil bit to out her alive

  • @JIZZZification lol... You are right the legs and the tail are the obvious flaws. Thanks for your comments. Have you seen my 2nd horse sculpt? Many of the flaws were corrected in the second horse sculpture. :)

  • @ulujm Thanks. Some one else said the same thing and my answer in jest was, this is a quarter horse with 3/4 legs! :)
