This Holiday season Palestinians have one wish, the establishment of their rightful independent and sovereign state of Palestine. As time goes on, this wish becomes less attainable as the Israelis continue to create facts on the ground to destroy any chance for a sustainable Palestinian state.

2 FACTS puncture bogus narrative about partitian
ONE: Israel did NOT receive the "better land" of the partitian deal. More than half of the land apportioned to Israel was DESERT.
TWO: Jews were in 40% of the population and received about 27% of the arable land + Negev Desert)
The disastrous Arab war of 1948 CANNOT be justified.
Even Abbas admits it was a mistake. In Palestinian Press!

Very informative and eye-opening.
Two possible factual errors: (1) The 1947 Partition Plan did not "give land" to anyone; rather, it intended to assign sovreignty over the various areas of historic Palestine. It was not supposed to be about land ownership. Very quickly it all became moot, of course -- we all know what happened in the end. (2) Area C (full Israeli control) was represented as being 23% of the West Bank -- unless I missed something; it's actually 60%!
