Maybe he doesn't want to socialize much with fans nor be approached by them. I wouldn't worry about it. From experience I know Russian people are not so open and friendly like Americans or Hispanics.
Many people mainly like him for his skating.

Gish he did not even say hello and they sounded so cheerful. Peoplee always bother me and I say hello even if I do not feel social. That is just how I was raised.
I am kind of suprised he always seems so nice in his demeaner...but maybe that is just for the cameras. I guess you never know.
He is an amazing skater though.

He is a very nice person. I had the opportunity to meet him up in Lake Placid, NY for my little cousin's skate competition. He's quite shy, but still overall a nice person.
Plus he's wayyyyyyy hott! :op

And i think he kind of smiles too look every person has different moods different times of the day are you happy and smiling always? and we have seen how sweet and open he is!
