Ingenious and amazing! I really like this/you idea but i am not a fan of the motion detection system based on the color tape and needing a camera. I was thinking about this idea and implementing a hands free mouse too. My idea is that you do not need color tape or any camera of sorts, but rather small accelerometers on only the back of my pointer finger and thumb and the receptor would be a usb bluetooth of some sorts. Please message me back on your thoughts, thanks.

@Scribblette1 This is not a software at least not a comercial one. This is my own implementation based on Matlab and OpenCV and I have not posted any source yet.

what kind of process algorithm and platform do you use?

@javiergomez54 Platform is Windows XP, the algorithm is not other than a simple color filter Threshold but if you want a noise free tracking you can add a Kalman filter.
