Not all christian songs are Jesus this and Jesus that. Some christian songs dont even mention God. Some christian songs send out a good message that has nothing to do with God. Why does it really matter what kind of song or band they are? Just enjoy them.

The simplest thing would be to not decide whether this is "Christian" or not and just appreciate how good of a song it is. :)

Such an underrated band

when we say Christian song. The song gives a good message that has nothing to do with God.it gives hope to the people whose listening to it. whatever problems people have in life, songs can give hope and inspiration.
whatever you say...whether you agree or disagree... just listen to the beauty of the song.

@udontyknowme it's on their Acoustic Seattle Sessions album.

@woohooitscrystal Some of the band members are Christian. But because all of the members don't have the same beliefs, they don't want to be exclusive as a Christian band.

where can i get this song???i cant find it anywhere

@livelifefree666 actually alot of bands are doing this. especially ones with very Christianoriented lyrics, its so they can tour with nonChristian bands. its very clever :p!

@acamp1995 from my understanding letting God "take care of the saving" does not mean we take no responsibility for our actions and do whatever we want. That kind of defeats the purpose. The point is that we cannot be perfect in and of ourselves. We are required as Christians to own to our actions and hold ourselves to a higher standard but when we stumble we should not be overridden with guilt or shame, because God has died for the sins we have committed and will commit. Heartbreak is not needed

Barabbas318 - This one in particular is talking about giving up the task of striving to save yourself and instead having faith that God is taking care of the saving.
Absolutely, taking no responsibility for your actions and leaving every aspect of your life to an invisible giant is a great example for the children... wouldn't it be weird if I were actually like that?
No, but really that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard Barabbas318... Alright sounding song though.

@woohooitscrystal They're not a Christian band, though some of the members are Christians themselves. But they don't consider their band as Christian oriented.

I hope you know the lyrics are "Wake up you faithless..." not "Wake up you're faithless..." the meaning is very different that way.
Also, I do believe that the song has some Christian themes, as do a great many of The Classic Crime's songs. This one in particular is talking about giving up the task of striving to save yourself and instead having faith that God is taking care of the saving. Great song either way, though.
