I finished this a month ago but was awaiting for the final cut. This was a team project.

off corse this is amazing!! How did you manage to make the animations in the vase?

It's simple. We created the vase and a base texture with the top and bottom drawings. Then we created the fight animation in full 3D. We rendered the animation with an Ink shader which gave a black and white render (white for the interior, black for the borders). Then we created a solid orange texture bock in Photoshop. Finally we comped the base texture and the solid block using the Ink shading render as a Mask to cut the block. This resulted in an animated texture that we applied on the vase.
