Really nice video! I'm the son of a sailor, and it's cool to see how things are done on the boats. I've heard a lot of stories, but you have to be there to see how things happen. Thanks, TigerLeahu.

Now sails as John J. Boland.

I've watched them load many times from the shoreline -- it's great to get a closer look. Thank you for uploading the video!

Ever trim a type II (Boland, White, Block, Mariner) class at this dock?????

Why is that unfortunate?

1:58 is that Big Dog?

Unfortunately yes. They put hydraulic rams on the doors, so the kickers are gone.

Is this facility still open?

do you work two 6 hour shifts or do you do different shifts? is this hard work? just curious i work on the river for five years from the ohio to the mississippi and i always pondered going out on the lakes. what is your trip time month on month off? i saw a ship once at two harbors getting ready to load i think looked pretty busy. cool videos of the life on the lakes.
Thats where i live, it is cool to see how things change

Stay tuned, I've got another with a walk through the dock when it was between shifts.
