You just ask them to block the data. Any smart phone that was made before 11/30/08 you can block the data on. On 11/30/08 is when they made the rule that you can't block data.

@thedekester18 Any phone released before the Blackberry storm does not require a data plan. Btw, I got my xv6700 for like $30 a couple of years ago, and it was indestructible. That is until it fell into my couch and was crushed by the recliner scissor hinges.

Slip case included. charger dock usb cable hands-free headset I think I got a great deal considering I have a year left on my verizon contract and the Samsung Rogue I have is uninspiring. Plus I can connect to networks using Remote desktop. I look forward to exploring ways to use this phone!

Why are ya'll getting this phone now. I had this phone 3 1/2 years ago. It is so out of date. The only thing good about it is the keyboard. When it first came out it was the best phone of the time. Now, why not just get a touch pro 2 or an htc hero... This phone is so out of date. It was the best at its time though.
