  • i can't find max6921 can i use some tranzistors?

  • @MrErnijs You could. I used the MAX6921 because I'm not a fan of tedious wiring for 20 transistors. If I were to do it without the 6921, I would probably use opto-isolators.

  • I used A6810SA ICs from Allegro Semiconductor, as they are DIP versions of the same thing.. high voltage serial shift registers.

    Problem is, they are now discontinued. along with the LM9022 AC Bias filament supply driver, needed to keep brightness linear across the display. But the same thing can be accomplished through a couple of LM386 audio amplifiers and the PWM channel of the AVR Micro

  • To hard for me, hehe, ill stick with LCD :D
