Bruce Dickinson - Darkside of Aquarius (with lyrics)

Sorry for having to wait so long for this one, I was really busy. But here it is now. This Bruce Dickinson epic masterpiece is called Darkside of Aquarius, and it is from his 1997 solo album Accident of Birth. On this album Bruce has worked with the guitarist/producer Roy Z for the first time, which is probably the main reason, why it's so much better (in my opinion, of course) than its predecessor, Skunkworks (1996). Another good reason is the fact that Bruce was also assisted by no other than Adrian Smith (and we all know who that is, don't we? :)). Bruce and Roy-Z had co-written all songs on the album, and they worked together on Bruce's future projects as well, for obvious reasons.
But back to the song. The only word this song can be properly described with is MASTERPIECE. What else can a man say after listening to that epic Smith-Roy-Z heavy riffing and soloing, Bruce's melodic and storytelling, yet powerful and energetic voice, and the perfect balance between the quiet and the heavy moments in the song. No song is perfect they say, but Darkside of Aquarius comes very, VERY close to perfection.

I wouldnt compare Skunkworks to Accident of Birth, because the latter is a truely heavy metal record, whereas Skunkworks is an alternative/experimental rock. I like them both and overall i prefer Accident (the songwriting and production is probably better), but you cant compare them from a music standpoint.

Speaking of Darkside of Aquarius, i'm just glad somebody was able to write such an awesome song! It's over the top.
