Seeing a genius' process at work is the same no matter in what context. Whether is was Homer writing the Odyssey, Micheanglo carving David, or Beethoven writing his ninth it most likely looked something like this.
The 'Wayne Douglas' CD has been in my car player for 2 years now. Perhaps a Deluxe edition would be in order, including 'North Country' & any other leftovers/alternate takes available. And might I suggest remixing with the steel guitar (which I love) quieter and the guitar boosted?
I wish...I grabbed the audio off of this u2b vid, it's sublime. :D

Damn ... I really miss Dougs voice & music. I was lucky to have photographed him back in the late 70's & again in the 90's. He was so real & cool.

I never saw a man take as much joy from playing as your grandpa. I remember him with great respect and affection.

I also met Doug once, here in Stockholm. He was such a sweet guy, and a musical hero, equalled by noone. I sure hope he gets his due eventually.
