Ludwig Van Beethoven's Piano Sonata, The Moonlight Sonata (The First Movement), one of the most beautiful Classical Piano Sonatas written. Extraordinary, yet, beautiful. Powerful, yet, elegant. Such a graceful piece.

Before I finish with my Description, I would like to dedicate this piece to my Grandmother and Grandfather, for it is their love and care that motivates me to play this Classical Sonata, which brings back joyful memories of their past. Hopefully in the near future, I will be able to get a chance to play for my Grandmother (she has an illness that disables very much of her movement).

In hopes that this will help many of you, I've managed to find a "Zoomed-In Bird's Eye View" so that you can see my fingers and the keys more clearly, unlike other videos. Though, I am not very good, as you can see. There are others that play much better than I, for example, ManHoPark (his video has a very good view for you to learn, and also his lighting is much better than mine). I recommend you to check his Moonlight Sonata Video out if you wish to study further into professionally/correctly playing the song.

So, without further ado, I give you Ludwig Van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, The First Movement! (Though, you might've already heard it all. Actually, I'm not even sure if anyone bothered to read this far!?)

Sincerely,

Charles Nguyen

  • this is one of my favorite compositions, nice job man. Peace

  • U r so gud at it i lik this soung

  • Perfect ! thumbs up :)

  • (without* emotions)

  • i agree praptolium + you need to produce more emotion cause the notes with emotions are just notes (meaning less) no offence i wish i could play like you but with more (passion and emotion) :D good luck on that

  • I think it would be better if you played much softer, even though it's VERY difficult... You also need to play with much more rubato, especially when introducing the first theme, i think you really need to lean on the semi quaver before that bar.

I would also play it slower

but essentially you need to play it with more feeling - not so mechanical...

  • Have to play with more feeling. Its same tempo through whole song.

  • Love it! <3

  • yea it's good but it has 0 feelings added to the song so it's boring as fuck. Add feeling, and when you do, you pause naturally. You're just playing the song softly. BIG difference.

  • can i have your hands and your piano please??
