@moenk5 You have that backwards... USB is DC, AC is for general appliances like washers/dryers etc. Think about how to charge a phone you need to use an adapter to convert the AC from your wall outlet to DC. With these panels you are already getting DC so there's no need to convert it to charge a phone.
