wrote this a couple days ago & thought i'd share. it gave me the creeps writing it. haha


A Ghost Love Story

a ghost, a girl
whose love sailed away
she haunts the town
wanders night and day
cuz her love went away
and never came back
so she stays, and she waits

sailed away,took my heart on that boat
when u didnt come back i thought it broke
been in love with you since i was five
waited for you til i died, til i died

a ghost, a man
who sailed far away
for miles, and miles
the ship became his grave
but the one thing he missed
was the girl he last kissed
so he sailed, and he sailed
til he found the bay
and heard her say


they went away together
hand in hand toward the light
to the town they said goodbye

Time to go out on a nerdy Dragon Quest 3 limb and name the male sailor Eric and the waiting lover Olivia. Lovely song and it suits the ghost ship part of Dragon Quest 3.

@Kencan72 wth? 1.i have no idea what dragon quest is. 2. ive never written a song remotely like this before 3. if i have inspiration for something, im going to write it regardless of what style it is 4. if this song is not to your liking, then the solution is obvious: dont listen to it.

1)The Dragon Quest reference wasn't something I expected you to get and it wasn't meant to be offensive. The song lyrics just relate to a scene in the game, so calm down.

2)Just because someone says "Don't make a habit out of-" doesn't mean you've done it a lot in the past. I'm pretty much just saying that I love hearing you sing happy songs. Whatever the type of song you've got a lovely voice. Goodness, someone must have had a bad day.

Love this! Actually. I often pay a lot of attention the melody of many original songs (just because it's hard to write songs sometimes because you think you're just changing up another song's tune sometimes...) and this really kept me listening. Great work =)
