Is the audio mic'd by a rode nt2? or the pick-up built in? or both??

I already have the rode mic, and am purchasing a pick-up cajon soon.... just trying to get an idea of the sound i'd be having in studio.

The cajon was mic'd with the two mics. One in front and one in back. We didn't use the internal pick-up in the audio recording.

I am interested in the pickupo also. this is the 3rd video from 3 different channels that i see from the pickup cajon, and none of them used the pickup. Even better would be an A - B comparison of mic and pickup.

It would be nice to see a video of this pickup cajon with someone actually using the pickup. Jen lowe has a video of this same pickup cajon without using the pickup, also. Does it sound that bad? If it's good enough to plug in and play, you shouldnt have to mic it.
