WCBS: New Set Debuts (2011)

After 10 years, CBS2 has finally changed their news set with a simple and clean modern look. The backdrop is a rear projection screen, and is capable of changing to different images; morning, afternoon, night. The backdrop for the 5pm news looks very stretched. I personally like this set more than ABC7's set. We're still waiting on WNBC, as they're getting a new studio in January, which by the way will be the NBC Nightly News studio since Brian is moving out. And PIX11 is getting a new studio, but I really don't care for that station anymore.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN WABC! It's not even funny. Now we get to see what PIX's new morning set looks like, and then finally WNBC. Though I'll admit it...I don't quite think WNBC's will look all that good.

I agree with everyone here, they did a really nice job. The single shot of Kristine looks particularly nice. I really disliked WABC's new set so it's nice to see this! Especially since I usually watch WCBS News anyway.

WPIX debuted a new set today. It's actually pretty good. No joke here.

Actually although WABC is #1 in the demo, WCBS is the most watched and is the strong number 2 and have caught up to WABC
