Makes me so happy!! I saw their photo on the Daily Squee! Question - do they have to be taught to forage for food after being given their food for 3 months? Or do they just do it? Thanks!!

Hi Petlovergirll! So glad you liked the video. When they're at Coast & Canyon, the orphaned squirrels are given quite a variety of foods - always changing, whatever is in season, including treats that grow right in the Coast & Canyon like fruit and pinecones. They're released in friendly locations where the homeowners will leave a bit of food out until the squirrels get to know the yard and find food sources. Their natural squirrel instincts help them find their way.
