October 22, 2010 -- Sean Parker, Napster co-creator and real-life inspiration for Justin Timberlake's character in The Social Network, revealed the business strategy of his returning act Spotify at The Daily Beast's Innovators Summit. "The ultimate answer is you have to accept that the war on piracy is a failure," he said.

Google is about to help with the cloud computing. So is apple and all. Thing is as long as it becomes sharing and not appropriating yourself the content, fighting piracy becomes pointless and so does piracy in itself. Making money from there is a no brainer.

Also the library I have on spotify Costs me 9.99 a month and even at apple download prices what I have would have costed me many many thousands of pounds. So fuck iTunes. Also... I broke my phone .. Got a new one. Logged on to spotify and it was all instantly there again

I have the app on my phone and it's awesome. Swear by it. There is a lot of rare vinyl stuff on there and download quality is assured every time. Also you get everything easily such as art and tracklisting. I can't be bothered with torrents anymore because of this
