@Praxxus55712 Thanks for the info! I wonder if I can do that the same thing with sugar snaps. I have hybrid sugar snaps my daughter is going to try growing indoors. We will see what happens. =) Thanks, Ray!

@Praxxus55712 That is cool to know! I am so glad! I have some sugar snaps that are hybrid and was told I couldn't harvest the seeds from them. But now I know there is a possibility . Yay! I really appreciate your help! Have a great weekend!

Hey Ray,
I noticed you mentioned about harvesting seeds from hybrids and continue doing that and they eventually become a type of heirloom. However, I have read and have been told that harvesting those seeds and then growing them will give you a blander tomato or whatever you are growing. They will not be true to your plant that your originally grew. If this is true, how do you make yours into an heirloom type and still have them turn out right?

@TheSkadooshMove Don't believe everything you read. :)
Some hybrid seeds will produce inferior offspring but many won't. The way I save seeds from hybrids is to select the best tomatoes from the best plants. I continue this through the generations. This is how my cherry tomatoes ended up strong, sturdy, productive and flavorful. This and some luck of course. :)
