this videos states it all....i dont think the public really knows wht all we do n wht all we go through...ive been a C.O. since 2008 here n GA...i worked at MSP n am currently workin at GDCP/SMU....im currently out on medical leave bc of the tasks of the job....ive never left one of my fellow COs behind at work...i dont go home until we all walk outta there as one team/unit...to all u tht sever my hat goes off to u n all tht yall do...be safe out there!!!

I tell my inmates that the only difference in the tan their wearing and the uniform i have on is a mistake. just remember that. you have one beer, go out get in an accident and kill someone..you're looking at reckless homicide charge and prison time!

@TheGreatestAssassin wow dude you need a award because your the first cop/c.o to ever come forward an say yeah most of these guys are were all human some folks just take there job to there head an it swells up im glad you admit it i just wish for people like myself thats never been in troulbe an you assign them to a pod an you know there crime dont treat them like a dog all i did was steal a cd 18 bucksSTUPID! i did it take it eeasy man be safe an god bless the (county pen just aint for me) l8r

@nobodycantoucheminem I'm a C.O. and I know where you're coming from with it but not all are like that. There's a lot of people in prison for close circumstances or things that could happen to anybody. Punch someone at a party and they die. That simple. I don't act better than them. I'm there for their safety and my staff. I could care less about your crime. My team needs to go home at the end of the day. Prisoners want to go home too. C.O.'s march to the orders from the brass. Some are dicks!

you know what ill be a man an say thanx thanx for your easy ass day i went to jail 7 days in my life thats it thats all it took theses c.o's arent nothing but fat arrogant bastards the crime i did a class 5 missdemenor an i told my c.o i didnt know what to do or anything 23 hours ld 1 hour wreck time these guys think an walk an talk like there above the law but guys an gals you have a few more classes dont forget u button your pants the same way i do do your job dont be cocky about it

Im a CO and it has its up's and downs like any job you just have to be on your toes at all times b/c the inmates do watch and listen to everything we do and you just never know!! If you can handle the blood and fights you'll be just fine
