  • Yeah I posted a vid of my baby Oscar in my 55, kewl fish btw.

  • oscars are defo the best fish for character. thats a lucky one you got there, hes got good room in there, most people over crowd a tank and dont realise just how big these predators get. nice!

  • to ciycle a tank with out fish use frozen shrimp from the grocery store

  • awesome video!

  • such a nice tank

  • @lukebaldan yea, i kno. im just not a fan a adding fish to start the cycle.

  • @cichlidkeeper89

You still need a source of ammonia to start the cycle. This can be achieved by adding pure ammonia over the course of the cycle or by adding a few hardy fish to kick off the process.

  • a cycle is basically your tank building bacteria. without that bacteria, the ammonia would skyrocket. wat u do, is u let a tank sit fishless and constantly do water tests and watch the ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. when they are all at steady levels, u add fish.

  • what does yours eat mine is about the same size

  • whats CYCLE?
