A decent example of the tactic (using the financial crisis to push their agenda) economist Naomi Klein refers to as as the "shock doctrine"

@Richardgwm No you have not. Anyone can lie and say "this office put out a report that says this", and have it not be true. I searched for your data, and I'm coming up empty handed. As usual, you're wrong....you've supplied no actual information directing someone where to get the back-up info for your arguments. The truth is, you don't have an argument...Carter was not the master of job creation. Do a better job on your research, retard.
-
@meccaturbo Reality is indifferent to your unwillingness to accept it. I have provided you sources.
-
@Richardgwm You have provided NO facts other than to cite a bunch of numbers. Provide the exact web link, because until you do that, your arguments mean NOTHING. Losers like you cite "hey it's from this website" but you're too narrow minded and stupid to send the exact link. Show us the dirt, you fucking douchebag.

@meccaturbo Average annual job growth under Carter was 3.11% That compares to just 2.42% under Clinton and 2.04% under Reagan. You can find the job growth data at the US Bureau of Labor Statistics website. These are objective facts. Not opinion. Not spin. Facts.
By the way, average annual real GDP growth under Carter was 3.2%. That compares to 3.3% under Reagan and 3.6% under Clinton. Again, these are objective facts from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The economy performed well under Carter

@jshooper That's okay. You're an idiot too so who gives a fuck what you think. Fucking moron.
-
@Richardgwm You're a typical idiot libtard who invents history instead of sticking to the facts. If you have facts of Carter being the king of job creation, then hand over the facts. Until you do so, your opinion means NOTHING. You're a retarded moron, too stupid to see politics objectively.
-
@meccaturbo You do understand the weaknesses of anecdotal evidence don't you?
By the way, Jimmy Carter is the King of job creation. The labor market grew faster during the Carter years than during any other US president. I DO have the facts.
-
@Richardgwm That is not true. The Carter administration comes to mind as a case where you're dead wrong. Get the facts right, you fucking moron.
EVERY ONE:
GDP, stock returns, job growth, income growth, budget deficits, and on and on.
EVERY objective economic indicator performs better under Democratic presidents than under Republican presidents.
These are facts.
