i cant wait til we can scan things and print them out with full color and various materials. good bye 8 hour job, ill only be working for food. ill print out some solar panels that i got from scanning the neighbor's. 2025 cant come fast enough

I never said they did, and people do sell reprap kits. I was stating that makerbot wasn't the first opensource hobby 3d printer out there, and that makerbot rose from the reprap movement. Think first, reply second. Idiot.
