Never have I heard this great music conducted with such verve since that great recording by Georg Solti. Thank you!!

THANK YOU! Your conductor takes this at a GREAT pace...not slow and boring as so many others do. and a double choir to take this so quickly, I love it! Sung it myself as a member of a well-known symphony orchestra chorus. YOU guys are good....don't stop...continue making music!

How you can listen to Bach at his joyful best without moving something is beyond me.

@LacrimaMax - So do I. :-)

Great performance. I listen this peace almost every time I visit youtube.

@angietihi Most of the audience look as blank-eyed and expressionless as milling sheep as though they don't have a clue what's going on in the music.
-
@wcbroccoli how can u tell if an audience is clueless? Should they get up and dance?

Fabulous! Absolutely.
Wonderful. A cristal clear interpretation, full of joy and rythm. Quite remarkable. I'd like to hear more Bach directed by such a remarkable conductor. Wonderful choir also.
