  • wow, good idea!

  • @dhenion1 Thank You! I still keep on using various forms of small area gardening. At the present time I am working with an area that is to shady to grow anything very well and the owners dont want to do much trimming of trees. Being in the tropics it makes sense to leave the trees for a cooling effect. It just is not conducive to vegetable growing.

  • Thank you, lots of good ideas. I especially like the one with the tomatoes in square holes, although the spacing seems too close. You said you put a small tire inside a large one. HOW did you do that?? Winters in Guatemala, summers in Canada(?)--sounds great!

  • Very interesting tire usage. I like your 3 level tire planters.

  • i like them great to have outside the workshop

  • Very creative, good job!

  • Great ideas with tiers!, tomatoes in wholes!

  • Great idea with the multiple tire stand. I have tires in my back that I have planted in, but they take up so much room all spread out on my patio. How did your lettuce and broc do with the 1.5' spacing?

  • Amazing! SO CREATIVE

  • The narrow planters are nice -you might be able to steer clear from the steel belted ones if you sought after tractor tires or ones from All-terrain vehicles... Other wise - they're all very nice.
