Which is different today, why? Paul wouldn't have mentioned it if it weren't a problem. Women back then were the same as they are now. Just the same way men loved sex, money, and fame back then they still do now. It's not culture. BTW, it was against "culture" to say there is no male or female in Christ. But the Bible does define our culture not our society. You are then conforming to the ways of this world.
