Your a moron, you think healthcare has gotten less humane over the years? Many people considered to be "a burden to society", numbering in the thousands, were sterlized by the United States Government up to 1968. That included the mentally disabled, the poor, and occasionally very physically unattractive people. Also, mental patients were lobotomized. Your a moron man.

I love how the blonde lady on the left cracks a huge smile as soon as Bachmann said "Terry Schiavo was a healthy woman!".. followed by general laughter.

Schiavo's brain was half its regular weight and mostly liquified. Autopsy showed that no amount of therapy should regain her lost neurones. Surely that is proof enough that letting her go was the thing to do

Schiavo was permanently brain-damanged. Severely. There was nothing left of the person at all. Her body was a wasting-away shell. The autopsey proved what her doctors had been saying all the time: A large percentage of her brain was liquified.
Liquified.
Anyone who says otherwise has clearly not been living on the same planet as the reality-based community. She was dead. Her body just didn't know it yet. The only humane option was to let her go. I know. I had to do the same thing.
