  • WTF! this sounds amazing!! I had only heard the demo version before, but this version is just perfection! where can I download it?

  • @rue005 Well, people aren't 100% sure if this is the studio version or not but I'm pretty sure it is. It's usually referred to as an "unnamed fan remix" but what doesn't make sense about that is if a fan made a remix using the demo version, the quality would decrease, not increase. Also, this one is set up exactly like Kelly Clarkson's version. And I believe I downloaded it from mp3skull(dot)com. Just search "katy perry long shot remix"

  • @allmydiscs thank you! I think this is a studio version too. The demo does not sound that good and Katy's voice sounds better too.

  • @rue005 You're very welcome (:

  • OMG This is so much better than Kelly Clarkson's version. It has something Kelly's is missing. This is why you're famous Katy. You have that something. :)

  • @shiroshin13 their voices are totally different! this is Katy's

  • I think Kelly Clarkson is a better singer vocally. She won a talent show; she's awesome singing live and she can hit high and low notes.

I think Katy Perry has a more unique voice. I don't think she sings too good live though.

Anyhow, I love both singers! <3

Generally I like Kelly's version of this song better but that's probably because I listened to it 50 times before coming on this version :L

  • @WhoLuke See but now your opinion actually makes more sense then the other person. Still, I'm going to have to disagree lol. I love what she did with this song.

  • @lalalabyotch Katy always adds something on her songs, like you said. But in this song, it didn't work out. Why? 'Cause this song doesn't need to be singed uping and dowing your tone. At least with those synthesizers.

  • @wokdontrun10 I didn't say she couldnt sing circles around her. In fact, I agreed with that. Did you completely miss the point? Yes. Yes you did.

  • @lalalabyotch Kelly can sing circles around Katy....Kelly made Long Shot album worthy

  • @WhoLuke HAHA yes really. I find it hard to believe that you don't hear what I'm talking about. Even if you don't agree with me. Of course Kelly is a much better singer, but thats not the point. There's something in this that makes it more enjoyable for me than Kelly's version. Its an added tone or mood that Katy's singing style brings and that Kelly's is lacking. Her version is technically good, but I prefer Katy's by a long shot.

  • @lalalabyotch Not really. Katy has nothing. She hasn't even talent. Kelly has it all. People are just blind by pop divas and can't see anything else.

  • I've known the demo version I thought of as the final one for 4 years or something, and now I discovered it I'm just so happy to hear a great quality for a great song I love singing, dancing on, listening to...

  • Love this song.

  • Fun fact: Relient K lead singer Matt Thiessen helped Katy Perry write this song while they were dating back in 2005. If you haven't heard of RK, check them out.
