  • Obama's comment "the stock market is like a tracking poll in politics" pretty much proves Obama is a complete economic neophyte. I mean, you've got to either be a ginormous moron or utterly clueless if you think you can bullshit Wall Street with comments like that. $3 trillion and counting on stock market losses. "Change"...what you'll have left in your pocket after Obama's first four years.

  • Go Cramer.

Brooks, Buckley, Dowd and now Cramer are waking up to Obama.

Obama is deliberately wrecking the economy to push his socialistic agenda.

Anyone who supports his agends just wants a hand out.

  • Ur just mad because Stewart wrecked this idiot using Cramer's own stupid and agenda backed clips.

  • the economy was fucked before obama took office...i always liked cramer cause hes crazy but i never watched him enough to know hes partisan im gonna stop watching

  • An actor walks upon the floodlit stage of life wearing a mask of an angel beneath a demon's gown. Pretence smiles upon the crowded hall of life holding out hope as bright as it is false. ,,, See a black saviour where nought but a Judas strides. An entrapper of nations, bringer of dismal war Behind the robes and the nylon wings of hope Oh, may those who look upon you, see you as you are. Obama is not hope, he is distraction Please think
  • That is just plain wrong. And there was no "regime" that came in about 7 years ago "pulled" anything out of slump. Japan has been ruled by the LDP continuously, and they are passing more stimulus nonsense as we speak.

Again, the only difference difference is that Japan has a huge current account surplus, so is in a different situation from the US.

    Stop making things up, please.

Anyway, the fact remains that this US government is attacking its critics personally, which is totally unbecoming.

  • Maybe you should inform yourself - most economists agree and especially economists in japan, that the stimulus there was not enough and it was too late. It resulted in the market being propped up but not the cycle being broken. When the regime came in about 7 or so years ago it carried out a much more aggresive stimulus plan and pulled japan out of the slump.

  • You really should inform yourself.

Japans successive LDP goverments have been passing one "stimulus" bill after the other, typically for infrastructure projects, leaving the country plastered with bridges and highways to nowwhere, and a huge government debt. (The difference to the US is that the Japanese government does not have to run to China to finance this, it can cover the debt domestically.)

Please do inform yourself before opining.

  • no your wrong, japan delayed constantly before implementing a stimulus and then when they implemented it there was too little money too late.

My statements dont contradict, borrowing is not good but atm its the only policy. Its going back into america so its an investment we will eventually get back + some more.

  • You contradict yourself. First you say that you dont think that borrowing is a good policy, and next you say that Obamas giant new debts for government programs are "investing in the USA".

    Decide which one it is.

Japan, btw, did try endless "stimulus" stimulus plans and propped up failed financial institutions, leading to a lost decade. Very much like the Obama plan, except that Japan had a current account surplus and could actually afford it.

Please try to inform yourself before opining.

  • who says I like obama? Who says I think borrowing is a good policy? I like how you say obamas cronies and pet government, shows how you think.

Bush didnt invest in the USA and didnt create jobs.

If we do nothing it will be like Japan in the 90s, no growth for a decade.
