  • Venom fireball 55T. It has tons of torque and never stalls. I have had a 27T in it and it was fun for bashing, but too fast for crawling. I think a 35T would be a good compromise, but mine only does serious crawling anymore.

  • Nice Jeep. How much did it cost?

  • Thats a hard one to answer since I built it myself. The chassis and suspension links are homemade, and alot of parts were ones I allready had. The axles were the most expensive part at about 100 bucks for the pair. I'd say I have about $400 into it by the time you add up all the hardware and upgraded parts and aluminum used for the chassis.

  • great job im not crazy about the flat irons but they do the perfect job for that scale look. very nice

  • This is my first scaler, and admit I chose the flat irons largely on looks at some comments on a forum. What tires do you like and why?

  • i meant no disrespect im all about not following the crowd or else we would all have the same thing and that would be boring they do look very scale. for performance from what ive seen the losi rockclaws. i dont have them but my friend has them . for looks w/2.2 to go with scale i would say flat irons that is a very realistic tire. no hard feelings?

  • Thats the problem with typing instead of talking...no tone. No, I wasn't offended at all, just curious as to other tires to try! I am a bus driver in seattle...I have thick skin! As for the tires, I think the flat irons perform well in dirt, and on rough rock. As you can see from my video my rock garden is smooth river rock, and they don't always grab. The do pretty good though. By the way, I am on the RCCRawlers forum as Slobert if you want to see my build thread.
