(When Shadowed came out, I played it on the air on WRSU-FM almost weekly for months).

That *melody*!

A lyric that turns suicide into a metaphor -- bravely, successfully.

That startling line "'Cause I can't be your Francis Bean" and so much more, right down to the final modulation.

It's masterful.
