You'll have to "chase" the action. By that, I mean you'll have to move up and down the field along the sideline as far as the team benches will allow. With high school football, you can often more a little further into the bench area, then with major college or NFL football. The 75-300 won't do any good unless you're shooting daytime games. With the 70-200, anything farther than about 30 yards out is probably pushing how far away you can be. Good luck.

Scott where would you recommend a photographer stand if he doesnt have the 400 2.8 and the ability to reach way down field with that length? I have the 70-200 2.8 IS and a 75-300 3.5-5.6 on a cropped body.
