wot rights? they're not looking into your things. only ppl with problems with sniffer dogs are suspicious ppl who may be carrying something illegal. try that in my country if you're found with just 15grams of drugs and you'll be given the death sentence straight away. i think sniffer dogs are great becoz they get the job done without even needing to strip search or patted down and you dont need to open your luggage.

@slazzer145 they already are i have worked with sniffer dogs and trained them. the ones that i worked with were able to detect the odours of semtex, C4, PE4, det cord, blackpowder and other propellants, nitro glycerin, dynomite. so they dont take it likely.

They had sniffer dogs when I was at a Colombian airport in 93 and when I arrived back home at a Canadian airport. No "reasonable suspician" needed at all. Those UK dogs are used for searches on the general public, again for no reason at all.

I don't know if they love the smell of drugs. but i do know they love the treat or play time with their handler after the've made a "hit". The training of these four legged wonders is amazing.
