A1 Gates & Securities was founded in 2005 by Andy Bolt and his son Shaun. We were later joined in the office by Andy's wife Anne. As a family-run business, we strive to provide a highly personal level of service

A good gate installation starts with it's foundations; the correct pillars. Andy's background in the building trade ensures that the standard of workmanship we provide is second to none.

We only source the highest quality products. Our wooden gates are manufactured from sustainable sources, and in the case of our hinges (where we feel the standard of mass-produced gate hinges on the market is not sufficient) we manufacture our own.

We are also fully qualified to carry out all kinds of lighting and electrical work to the driveway area.

As CAME Gold Approved Installers for the area, we have many years experience in the commissioning of electric gates and have hundreds of satisfied customers in the Devon and Cornwall area.
