Would you believe that a week after I finished reading her book 'Compelled by Love' that I got to meet her at a revival meeting in Tonbridge - River Centre Church! God SOOOO SET ME UP AND IT'S MARVELOUS IN MY EYES, LOL, AWESOME. I Got totally Leveled by the Holy Spirit and touched in the most indescribable way. I will never be the same.

I think a lot of people desire that. it's really about doing what you see the Father doing, and knowing His heart so well that your mind becomes like Christ's.

No man can serve two masters Matthew 6:24 but I'll tell you this if you like to do some thing that you know is wrong, then ask God to help you overcome it or for him to take the word out of your heart and he will I know this from experience no man is born perfect, it is God that makes us perfect. @DMBtomp Tell me how you reconcile a loving compassionate, just, almighty god with the cruel death of 100.000 innocent children in Haiti. If your father acted like god, he would be jail with a life-sentence. He has the power to prevent the suffering and death of the innocent and he just is disinterested spectator.

@tallliza -Jesus, which Jesus himself says in Matthew; you can read it for yourself if you want. So because this perfect 'father' loves me as much as he loves Jesus, he loves me as a son. But if you don't believe in God, tallliza, then this doesn't apply to you because God doesn't exist anyway, to you. But I can tell you that he does exist, and he does love me as his child. Thankfully!! I love being his child. (The bible mentions we're children many many times.) It's the best thing ever!!!!

@tallliza Hey, thanks for your comment. Just a couple of thoughts - if you have children, you want the best for them However you don't want to control them to make choices because then they don't own the choices they've made, or learn for themselves. So when they make poor choices, like self harm or whatever, that hurts the parent who cares about their child. It would hurt me incredibly if I was a dad. And God is THE perfect father. He's not a detached father - he loves me as much as he loves-
