By the way, I see you're from Hong Kong.

That's where we lived and had our first English lessons.

  • hi! Can you please give us the recipe for the dough and the filling? I am looking for a pirozhki recipe that works!Spasibo!

  • Sad to say, but this grandma suffered a stroke and lost some memory this week. Hopefully, when she gets home from the hospital, where she is at at present, she will have kept some memory of her cooking.

  • @nshevy Awww.. well that's the way most of us want to pass. God bless her, she looked so happy making the piroshki. Thanks for posting. :)

  • A former girlfriend's mother used to make them by hand - but it took such a long time. I buy them frozen!

  • @nshevy Memory Eternal!!!

  • @321shooo though in my opinion the western side of ukraine on average are better cooks than russians lol not to start a war or anything

  • @321shooo well i understand, the recipe varies house to house let a lone country...

  • @theoneandonlyolya I was in Ukraine and I ate a pelemeny ... but my city in Poland has same dish ( not nearly same - just same ) and call for it : pierogi or pierozki ( pieroshki ) I think that " ruskie" pierogi are popular in my country as a bigos or schabowy :)

  • @321shooo i say they are Ukrainian! lol

  • @MyLalinea pierogi are Polish ' (pierozki) , Russian make very tasty "pieliemieny" but it's same cause we are slavik but sometimes we forgot about ours connections

  • A true master at her work, they look great. Thanks for posting.
