For an intitial entry exam you have to be able to peel an orange in atleast one hour to qualify as a combat engineer.

@rebelallianceairsoft The only thing i know is,that u stay in your EN company,depends who your BN or BDE going to be cz that is what and who you are going to support,not individually,but there are some operation,mission ie, that u can be pick individually or w/ u'r team leader,or by plt per operation.

my dad wanted to be combat engineer when he was in but he couldnt because he is color blind, is there any other odd requirements and also can combat engineers be airborne and be deployed with an airborne unit? i know its probably a dumb question.

@777Raph777 No, the only special restrictions, aside from the usual enlistment requirements, I'm aware of, are being color blind.
