I once had respect for all police. Now even the cops that would be considered "good" jump in to protect their "brothers". It stinks.
Any cop who thinks "its us against the citizenry" needs to find a different profession. Police are supposed to work for the citizens, not consider them a hostile force. It is time for reform.

The only just discipline for a police officer that abuses their power is to be immediately sent to jail and if found guilty to be sent to prison. They shouldn't get paid leave. They shouldn't get to keep their job. With this kind of abuse, there should be zero tolerance. We theoretically live in a free country where police serve to protect the rights of citizens. When an officer violates civil rights, there is no greater crime.
