@sophisticated009 فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ مَوۡلَٮٰهُ وَجِبۡرِيلُ وَصَـٰلِحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ‌ This is ayat from Surat Tahreem (Ayat Number 3, Para 28) where Allah says that "then verily, Allâh is his Maula and Jibril and the righteous among the believers". Here Allah Himself used the word Maula for the Jibril and the Momineen. In Saheeh Bukhari the Prophet(SAW) asked Zaid ibne Harisa(R.A) "ya zaid ibne harisa anta akoona wa maulana". These are proofs from Quran and Hadees.
