What needle brand are you using?

This is a neat braid, I am assuming you only do the knit row once, then just the two purl rows changing directions when needed, I'm going to try it anyway.

How does this stitch translate for a knitter who picks rather than throws? When throwing and wrapping from above or below is that twisting the stitches? I just can't seem to visualize what is being done here and switching it to the other style of knitting. But If I threw, this would be a great video...so thanks in any event.
