I was 16 when this album came out - I must have listened to it at least twice a day for the whole summer.. poured over the liner notes. New every word and inflection.. It was like going to school - Learned about relationships and what to watch and listen for leaving my small town and going out into the world.. New to watch out when I heard 'Baby, I can make you a star!!" and that "I wasn't going to be anyone's Slave!"
