Peter Schønau Fog's first feature film, The Art Of Crying is the story of 11-year-old Allan and his dysfunctional family. His mother has abandoned hope, his sister has suffered a breakdown and his older brother has left home. His psychotic father lives for the times when he gets to recite his famous eulogies at funerals. So Allan decides the best way to his father happy is to make sure that there are enough funerals. A double award winner for Best Film and Best Actor at the 2008 Bodil Awards.
