Home-Made Fish Tank Filter

I have managed to build a Cool and highly efficient filter for my tank only with things which one caneasily find around you.
And it works better than the power filter available in market(Thanks to th proper water currents formed)
So , in short its a wonderful external canister filter at 1/3 rd of the cost

Ummm, I really think this idea is OK but it needs to be more organized and thought out. It needs to look "cleaner" than a bottle with a tube on the top of ur fishtank.

i was thinking about using powerhead to make a canister filter .you showed it how to do but it would be lot nicer if you put sponge and gravel on a flat panel and slide water down.it would look much neat .but thx for the idea .i think i would modify it a little just for the look

i did have an idea of these but thats my problem how to suck that water from bottom to top...
