The mainstream news outlets are hurting and the numbers don't lie. A recent Gallup poll revealed that 21 percent of Americans have lost trust in television news and critics blame the disconnect of the media from covering the real issues. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, gives us his take on where the media loyalty lies.

It's not the left, it's both. You have Fox trying to find anything they can to distort views with hate against the left. Then you have CNN doing the same thing but by backstabbing the right with whatever they can find. It's a cycle that isn't stopping and all they care about is who is winning.

That means very little when not compared to how much people of the same profession are trusted in other countries, which you didn't... which is basically like saying a lawyer is the least trusted profession in a courtroom.

It means even less until you actually produce these alleged studies you gained your "knowledge" from, in stead of just mentioning "sources" off-handedly to support your claims.

Bullshit. The "big news channels" are NOT "generally trusted to be unbiased" in Denmark. Studies show that journalists in general are considered to be some of the least trustworthy people by Danes.

Bullshit, I live in Denmark, where the big news channels are generally trusted to be unbiased and to check their facts. The Danes pretty much feel exactly the same way about Russians, Syrians, Libyans, Iranians, etc.
