@SFFOOL76 it's weird because then after their great regular seasons all of them disappointed in the NCAA Tournament: #1 seed Oklahoma lost to #8 North Carolina in the second round, #2 seed Kansas lost to #7 UCLA in the second round, and #3 seed Missouri lost to #14 seed Northern Iowa in the first round

It looks pretty awesome! I go to Mizzou now and the new place is becoming quite the advantage, but Hearnes looks crazy. I love how the fans are right on top of the floor. the building is ugly as hell though.

what number is doug smith? he trains kids at the local basketball academy here in arizona. I see him all the time in there.

The locker room and coaching facilities were terribly sub-standard, especially for the women and olympic sports, and there wasn't enough room, the schedule was impossible and things are much better with the new arena.
But man, there was NOTHING like the atmosphere at Hearnes in a big game. I hated the building, it's totally without charm, but full up, it was a madhouse, the Iowa game when they oversold and we were sitting on the stairs in the aisles, what a night.

Got to love the Dino retro music!!!

Even though I was way too young for these, but I love these old College Basketball clips!!!!

Ahh yes, a clip from the old weekly "Norm Stewart Show" when The Tigers were ranked #1. My freshman year at Mizzou!
But dude, what's up with the music they used back then? New Kids on the Block? are you kidding me?!

The BIG-8 in 1989-1990 Season was unbelievable Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma took turns being #1. It was so fun to watch college hoops as a 8th grader back in the day.
