@kurosakilito I agree. I think he was speaking from his own martial arts experience. Some teachers in other systems tend to forget the "art" and focus more on the martial. Tae kwon Do's ancestor tekkeon (msp) is very similar to capoeira. Very artistic. The art comes from inside. As a martial arts instructor, it's my job to convey the "art" in what I'm teaching. I am looking forward to exploring the depths of capoeira and finding the similarities btw what I teach and what I hope to learn.

would definately like to see guerreiros playing at more events... you guys got like 50 students, 3 show up to events(if that) and never see them play.if i didnt know of folklore, i wouldnt have known about a group called guerreiros. would definately like to see what you guys are about!! Axe
Explain how this is crappy... first of all; and secondly who are you to judge how capoeira documentaries are supposed to be. If you can make a better one please link it to me... if not then please be more open minded and less douchee... thx

awesome documentary guys. love it. only thing i dont agree with is when the guy says karate isnt art. it really is a beautiful art. a whole other world like capoeira. as capoeiristas we have to acknowledge all the other arts.
