2009 marks the 70th year for Arizona's Hollywood in the Desert! To commemorate this milestone, Film Historian PJ Lawton has assembled a 30-minute presentation of never before seen movie stills spanning our amazing history.   • I grew up here, and can't bring myself to go to Old Tucson now. I haven't been since it burned down. What year was that? Oh man, so many great memories. Every year that the grandparents (both sets) would make the annual winter drive from Nebraska to Tucson, we'd make the annual run to Old Tucson, the Desert Museum, Nogales, Amado, etc. Anybody remember the "Mystery Cave" at Old Tucson? How in the heck did they do that? Also, driving those old-time cars around that track they had for them. joel

  • Almost all of "Guns of Ft. Petticoat" was filmed there, with Audie Murphy.
